Redemption profile of central government debt (billions ISK)

To reduce refinancing risk, efforts are made to spread the term of new loans so that the redemption profile of central government debt is as smooth as possible over the long term. Debt falls into four categories: nominal debt (Treasury bills and nominal government bonds), inflation-linked government bonds, foreign-denominated debt, and other debt (non-marketable domestic debt). Balances are shown at nominal value, while inflation-linked debt is shown at nominal value with accrued indexation.
